Megan Giddings has degrees from University of Michigan and Indiana University. She is a fiction editor at The Offing and a senior features editor at The Rumpus. In 2018, she was a recipient of a Barbara Deming Memorial fund grant for feminist fiction. Her stories are forthcoming or that have been recently published in Black Warrior Review, Arts & Letters, Gulf Coast, and The Iowa Review. Her novel, Lakewood, will be published by Amistad in 2020. She's represented by Dan Conaway of Writers House. Megan lives in the Midwest.

Raven Leilani's work has been published in Granta, The Yale Review, McSweeney's Quarterly Concern, and The Cut. She received her MFA from NYU, and was an Axinn Foundation Writer-in-Residence. Her debut novel, Luster is out now from FSG. Photo credit: Nina Subin

Amy Shearn is the author of the novels The Mermaid of Brooklyn and How Far Is the Ocean From Here. Her third novel, Unseen City, is out now from Red Hen Press. She has an MFA from the University of Minnesota, and currently lives in Brooklyn. You can find her at amyshearnwrites.com or @amyshearn.

Nancy Star is the author of the bestselling novel Sisters One, Two, Three, a Publishers Weekly top ten print book. Her previous novels, which have been translated into several languages, include Carpool Diem, Up Next, Now This, and Buried Lives. Her essays have appeared in the Washington Post, the New York Times, Money, and Family Circle. Before turning to writing fiction full-time, Nancy worked for over a decade as a movie executive at the Samuel Goldwyn Company and the Ladd Company, dividing her time between New York and London.
